How to set up an external monitor in Lenovo notebook Vista system as follows:
1. Enter the Control Panel-->Personalization-->Click "Connect to a projector or other external display" (whether connected or not) This option always exists for external devices).
2. Click "Connect Monitor".
3. Select "Copy desktop on all monitors (mirror)". If the external display device is not connected, the "Connect monitor" item will be gray and unavailable.
