When applications frequently freeze or when you suspect that your system is infected with malware, you can try reinstalling the operating system. Some models that come pre-installed with Windows include recovery to help you quickly and easily reinstall the pre-installed operating system and applications.
During the upgrade process, all information stored on your system will be overwritten. This means that all information: such as your emails, photos; and software you installed yourself will be wiped. Therefore, we will list the recommendations that you complete before starting the program.
Please follow the steps below to restore the system to the default factory settings:
Method 1:
1 . Start Menu→All Programs→Acer→Acer eRecovery Management.
2. Enter the Acer eRecovery Management interface.
3. Click "Restore" → select "Restore operating system to default factory settings" on the right.
4. When prompted to restart the computer → click "Yes" → start.
5. The machine restarts and enters the recovery interface.
6. Select "Next" according to the system prompts, and the machine will automatically recover.
Note: If the power supply is not connected during the creation process, the system will prompt that the battery is low. It is recommended to create with an external power supply.
Be sure to back up the data on the hard drive before restoring the system. All data on the C drive will be deleted after the restore.
Method 2: (Recommended to use when you cannot enter the system after booting or the system crashes)
1. Press the FN+F10 keys at the same time after booting. Enter the one-click restore system.
2. Select "Restore operating system to default factory settings".
3. Follow the system prompts and select "Next", and the machine will automatically proceed.line recovery.
After restoring the system, all data on the C drive will be deleted.
