When the system starts up, the message Exiting PXE Boot ROM appears, indicating that the system is trying to boot the operating system from the network card instead of the hard disk. If this happens, please verify the boot sequence in the BIOS.
Fault phenomenon:
This message appears after the Acer logo. It can be different for each mode, depending on the network adapter that is installed.
Solution:
1. Restart the system. When the initial Acer logo appears, press the F2 key to enter the BIOS.
2. Use the arrows to locate Boot or Advanced BIOS features.
3. Follow the instructions on the screen to set the first device IDE0, Hard Disk or SATA0.
4. Press F10 to save the settings and restart the system.
