To remove the back cover of your Lenovo notebook, you can follow the steps below:
Step 1: Preparation
Prepare tools such as a fine Phillips screwdriver, a slotted screwdriver, tweezers, a razor blade, and a soft cloth.
Step 2: Remove the battery
Turn the back of the notebook upward, open the battery lock, and take out the battery.
Step 3: Remove the back guard
Unfasten the screws holding the two protective plates on the back of the notebook and remove the protective plates.
Step 4: Remove the hard drive
Disconnect the hard drive cable and take out the hard drive.
Step 5: Remove the network card
Gently pull out the network card from the data slot, then pry open the metal clip of the power cord, and finally remove the network card.

Put the notebook face up, open the LCD screen, gently pry up the buckle on the upper part of the keyboard and flip it up. Then disconnect the cable from the motherboard and remove the buckle.
Step 7: Remove the keyboard
Carefully pry up the keyboard again and flip it up (be careful not to tear the bottom cable), then disconnect the cable and remove the keyboard.
Step 8: Remove the LCD screen
Disconnect the two connecting cables (including power and data) between the LCD screen and the motherboard respectively, and finally rotate the display screen to release its fixed state.
Please note that the above is the normal operation method for the back cover of Lenovo notebooks under normal circumstances. However, for some special models or built-in designs, please be sure to contact professionals or Lenovo service outlets for help.
